Delta Lake, north of Rome in New York is a reservoir that once didn’t exist. Long ago, there used to be a small village named Delta, and the ruins now lie below the water of Delta Lake.

It’s amazing how winter can sometimes make what would normally be a beautiful landscape look so desolate.
Sunset from Port Bay
Port Bay lies on the Southern shore of Lake Ontario, north of Wolcott NY; this can be a great place with easy access to view a nice Sunset on Lake Ontario. On the Northern rim of Port Bay, there is a public park and boat launch right on the shore. For good Sunset photos, be sure to incorporate foreground elements such as flowers into your composition.
Vietnam Memorial and Washington Monument
The National Mall in Washington DC is a place every American should visit at least once in their lifetime. My trip was at night, and first up are some images of the Washington Monument from different viewpoints.
